I am blessed to minister to you as your National Youth Coordinator for our 17th National Church of God Family Conferences.During the past sixteen years our annual family conferences were held in different major cities across the United States. This year we have prepared an excellent venue for the conference and for our sports tournament at Rutgers University facility.

The underlying spiritual purpose of these conferences is to unite the Church of God families and to empower the next
generation to carry on our ministry and our faith, as Jude says, to urge you “that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” (Jude 1:3b)

We welcome every one and we hope that this year’s conferences will truly encourage and blessed our youth and our children. We pray that they will feel the inspiration of the Word through the work of the Holy Spirit. With this hope and prayer, we are designing a program with collegial inputs from the youth to make sure that each youth activity will empower our youth to grow holistically through dynamic worship, inspiring speakers and helpful information and instructional workshops on interpersonal growth and responsibilities. In addition to the youth program, we have designed children sessions for ages 4 to 12.

This year we are praying and planning for wonderful seminars. We are also inviting powerful speakers within our own faith community. We fervently hope that these four days event will nourish our spiritual life and many will be changed by the power of the Word and the continuous work of the Holy Spirit.

For several years we found out that our annual family conferences have encouraged the youth. The youth have been
experiencing meaningful worship and also fellowshipping with one another.

As we prepare for this year’s national family conferences, I encourage the national representatives to provide youth
